Ex-MNA joins Millat Party

LAHORE, Aug 26: Former MNA Syed Shahnawaz Kirmani from Depalpur, Okara, and 14 Nazimeen on Monday announced their joining the Millat Party after a meeting with its president Farooq Leghari.

Former member of the provincial assembly of the Punjab from Kasur Syed Hasan Askari also quit the PPP and joined the Millat Party.

Mr Leghari welcomed their decision of joining his party which, he said, believed in serving the masses and would work to eradicate poverty, illiteracy, ignorance, inflation and unemployment from the country if it came to power.
