MANSEHRA, Aug 24: Former federal minister Abbas Sarfraz Khan and five other people have obtained nomination forms for contesting the general election to National Assembly on the Kohistan district’s only seat, NA-23.

The five other aspirants are former provincial minister Maulvi Ismatullah, Maulvi Abdul Haleem, Malik Siraj, Abdul Haq and Mir Wali.

The Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) has already given a ticket to the renowned spiritual leader of the district, Maulvi Abdul Hanan, while the Pakistan Muslim League (QA) has awarded its ticket to Mahboobullah Jan, brother of Kohistan district Nazim Maulvi Obaidullah.
