Eight file papers in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR, Aug 23: Eight nomination papers were filed for the national and provincial assembly seats of Shikarpur district before the returning officer here on Friday.

Ghous Bux Maher, Sindh president, PML (Q), Zulfiqar Kumario and Taj Mohammad Amroti filed their nomination papers for NA-203, Shikarpur (Lakhi Ghulam Shah-Garhi Yasin).

Maher and Kumaryo also filed nomination papers for the Sindh Assembly seat of PS-9, Garhi Yasin and PS-10, Shikarpur.

EX-MNA: Former federal minister Agha Tariq Khan Pathan, who had been detained in a plot case by the NAB, was allowed to attend burial of his wife in Sultankot on Thursday night under the police security. After burial he was taken back to Karachi on Friday morning.
