Seven die in van-coaster collision

BAHAWALNAGAR, Aug 21: At least seven people were killed when a wagon collided head-on with a coaster on the Bahawalnagar-Bahawalpur Road, some 25 kilometres from Hasilpur, on Tuesday.

Reports said a Bahawalpur-bound wagon collided with a rashly-driven coaster near Khairpur. Six passengers died instantly while the wagon driver succumbed to injuries after some time.

MINORS DROWN: Two minors drowned in the pond in 138-Murad Dahranwala, on Tuesday.

Zubair, 8, son of Gul Nawaz and Talha, 7, son of Gul Nawaz’s brother Jamil took their cow to the village pond. Both the children went into the pond and drowned. Villagers took them to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
