KARACHI, Aug 21: The Sindh government has appointed Mr Saleem Jan Khan, Additional District and Session Judge Karachi South, as Inquiry Officer to hold an inquiry into the murder of Shakir Raza at the Kalakot police station.

The terms of reference shall be to ascertain the circumstances leading to the arrest and murder of Shakir Raza by the Kalakot police, to fix the responsibility against the police officials as well as private personnel involved in the murder, and to recommend action to be initiated against the responsible police officials as well as private personnel, if any.—PPI
