SBP mops up Rs24.64bn

KARACHI, Aug 21: The State Bank of Pakistan on Wednesday realized Rs24.64 billion from the auction of three-month and 12-month treasury bills.

The bids of Rs41.950 billion for six-month bills were rejected without assigning any reason.

The SBP realized Rs3.55 billion of Rs3.600 billion face value with a cut-off yield of 5.8124 per cent and 5.7976 per cent weighted average yield for 3-month bills. It accepted the bids of Rs21.090 billion of Rs22.55 billion face value on a cut-off yield of 6.9939 per cent and 6.9407 per cent weighted average yield.—APP
