6 get nomination papers

ISLAMABAD, Aug 20: For two seats of the National Assembly from the capital, six aspirants obtained nomination papers on Tuesday.

However, with the start of electoral process on Monday, no one submitted nomination papers on the second day.

Those who obtained the nomination papers included Sayed Zafar Ali Shah, the former parliamentary secretary of PML-N, and two independent candidates, Shoaib Hafiz and Abdul Latif Khaki, for NA-48.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the son of Haji Nawaz Khokhar, Chaudhry Rab Nawaz and Col Sanaullah (retired) have obtained nomination papers for NA-49.

Mustafa Khokhar is trying to fetch PPP ticket.
