41 outlaws arrested

Sukkur Aug 18: Forty one outlaws, wanted by the police, were arrested on Sunday from Daharki and its adjoining areas in a massive drive against the anti-social elements, said the police sources.

A huge quantity of illicit arms, including four Kalashnikoves, two shotguns, three pistols and a seizable quantity of ammunition were recovered.

DPO, Ghotki, told Dawn that a massive operation against the anti-social elements and dacoits was started on Saturday, in which 41 outlaws, including Khalil Marheto, Soomar Shar, Gaden Merhato, Arif Merhato, Abdul Ghani Nasrani, Abdul Wahab Nasrani and Abdul Karim Samejo, had been arrested.

They were wanted by Ghotki police in dozens of cases.
