MIRPURKHAS: Robbers kill man

MIRPURKHAS, Aug 18: One person was killed and another was injured in a scuffle between villagers and robbers who barged into a house in Kharri Boh village, Umerkot taluka, on Saturday night.

Essa Maher, Imam Bux Zardari and Saleem Samejo, entered the house of Daulat Singh, 40, and Lachhman Sindh, 40, for robbery while the inmates were asleep. When the inmates of the house woke up and offered resistance, the robbers attacked Daulat and Lachhman who fell unconscious. However, Daulat died later.

Meanwhile, the villagers, on hearing the call for help, reached there and caught the three robbers. They handed them over to the Umerkot police.

The injured was taken to the Umerkot Taluka Hospital.
