KARACHI: ST invited to join GNA

KARACHI, Aug 18: The Grand National Alliance (GNA) has invited the Sunni Tehreek (ST) to join the coalition for the forthcoming general elections in the country.

According to an announcement by the ST here on Sunday, this invitation was extended by senior vice-president GNA and former federal minister, Javed Jabbar, during a meeting with ST leaders Iftikhar A Bhatti and Maulana Mohammad Akram Qadri at Markaz Ahl-i-Sunnat.

The leaders of both the parties agreed to get rid of “plunderers and anti-state elements”. —APP
