Returning officers appointed

HARIPUR, Aug 17: The provincial election commission on Friday appointed the district and sessions judge, Haripur, as district returning officer for the October general elections.

According to a notification, the District and Sessions Judge, Haripur, Syed Afsar Ali Shah, will perform his duty as the District Returning Officer, and Khalid Badshah, Additional Sessions Judge 1st, will be Assistant Returning Officer for NA-19 Haripur.

For the provincial assembly seats, the assistant returning officers are: Syed Abdul Qayyum Shah, ASJ 1st, PF-49, Aamir Nazir, CJ, PF-50, Sardar Ashfaq Ali Haider, CJ IV, PF-51 and Tahir Mehmood Khan, CJ Ghazi, PF-52.
