HYDERABAD, Aug 16: The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party has said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement had only changed its strategy but it had not changed its goals.

A statement issued from the Taraqqi Pasand House said that Altaf Hussain and his party had taken no practical part in the struggle against the construction of Kalabagh Dam and greater Thal canal, except lip service.

It said that Hussain’s claim that the interests of Sindh were very dear to him had proved hallow.

Commenting on the Muttahida leader’s telephonic address to his party workers in Karachi, the STPP said: Hussain’s hypocrisy has been exposed by his demands to open the borders for the Indian Muslims and repatriate the Biharis.
