KARACHI, Aug 13: Farhan Rafiq hit an unbeaten 55 to steer Zone-II Whites into the semifinal of KCCA-Darul Adviat Cup Inter Zonal under-15 cricket tournament when they defeated Zone-V Blues by seven wickets at PCB Academy Ground Monday.

Farhan slammed six boundaries and a six as Zone-II Whites reached the target in 34 overs. Zone-V Blues were dismissed or 122 in 50th over with Off-break bowler Shah Mir taking 4-31.

At Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Zone-VI Blues handed a massive 158 runs thrashing to Zone-III Blues. Left arm spinner Danish Ali Khan took five wickets for 35 runs to bowl his team to an impressive victory.

Waqas Haroon hitup 69 with nine fours and Owais Rehmani contributed 51 with five boundaries as Zone-VI Whites were dismissed for 228. In reply Zone-III Blues crashed to 71 all out in 26th over.
