LAHORE, Aug 11: Journalists, writers, friends and family members attended Qul of veteran journalist Aziz Asri here on Sunday.
The noted playwright, writer and the former editor of the famous Bachoan ki Dunya edition of the defunct Imrozedied here on Saturday. As editor of Bachoan ki Dunya he won the hearts of children who would endlessly wait for the edition.
Meanwhile, Federal Union of Journalist President I.H. Raashed condoled the death of Mr Asri and said that the country had lost another honest and committed journalist.
The governing body of the Lahore Press Club had also condoled the death.
