KARACHI, Aug 9: Speakers at a demonstration on Friday demanded that South Asia be declared a nuclear free zone and that the governments of India and Pakistan should stop extending threats of war, particularly the nuclear one, to each other.
Speaking at the demonstration organized by the Quami Jamhoori Party at the Press Club, they urged the governments of both the countries to learn to live in peaceful coexistence like matured neighbours.
Leader of the QJP Karamat Ali and Action committee for Civic Problems leader Baseer Naveed and others spoke.
