KARACHI, Aug 9: The Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) has said it will redress all injustices inflicted upon the people of Karachi if the party came to power.
Speaking to the party workers here on Friday, PTI’s secretary-general Mairaj Mohammad Khan said Karachi remained victim of repression and exploitation and its citizens have been denied their due share in government services and are without proper arrangements of water supply, electricity, transport and education.
He said Karachi not only contributes over 50 per cent of revenues of the state, but also provides employment and sustenance to hundreds of thousands who migrate to the city from all parts of the country.—PPI
