JUI leader shot dead

QUETTA, Aug 8: Prominent JUI leader and Secretary Information, Mutihada Majlis Amal, District Zhob, Maulana Jamaluddin Harifal was shot dead by unknown assailants near Zhob on Thursday evening.

His two nephews were also injured and admitted to the Civil Hospital Zhob, police said.

Maulana Jamaluddin was on his way to Zhob with his nephews. When they reached Killi Mansoor Nariay, some armed men opened indiscriminate fire on the vehicle they were travelling in.

The Maulana, who received half a dozen bullets, died before reaching the hospital.
