KARACHI, Aug 7: Ten-man Mauripur Baloch breezed past Hazara Mohammadan 2-0 to storm into the semifinal of All-Pakistan invitation football tournament at Baloch Mujahid Stadium Wednesday.

Sohail Ishaq headed home a Mohammad Ramzan cross in the 24th minute to give Mauripur Baloch a 1-0 lead. Mauripur Baloch were depleted in the 30th minute after Ramzan was sent off.

Mauripur Baloch pressed further and got the second in the 54th minute through Khalid Iqbal.

Earlier Tuesday, Railways swamped Jam XI 6-0.

Railways opened the scoring through Adam Shah in the 20th minute. Shafeeq Ahmad made it 2-0 before the half time.

Asif Nawaz got into action in the 51st minute, while Mohammad Kaleem had his name on the scoresheet six minutes later.

Adam and Shafeeq swept home their second goals in the 62nd and 78th minutes to complete the tally.
