DAOs to Issue domiciles

QUETTA, Aug 5: The Balochistan government has empowered all District Administrative Officers to issue local and domicile certificates, says an official notification issued by the provincial government here on Monday.

The people of all the 22 districts had been facing great difficulties for the last one-year as no local and domicile certificates could be issued in any district.

It was not clear who has the authority to issue these certificates. The government also remained in fix who should be authorised to issue these documents after the devolution of power.

After the passage of one year now the government has decided to empower all district administrative officers to issue these certificates.
