KARACHI, Aug 5: The KU examinations department on Monday announced the results of the 2nd Professional MBBS Annual Examinations 2002.

Syed Shumile Haider Zaidi s/o Syed Ilyas Haider Zaidi seat no. 4802 of the Sindh Medical College stood first by getting 760 marks, Syed Fahad Javaid s/o Syed Javaid Iftikhar seat no. 4256 of the Dow Medical College obtained second position by having 712 marks and Jawairia Shakil d/o Shakil Ahmed Khan also of the DMC stood third by obtaining 708 marks.

Statistics of the results revealed that some 955 candidates registered themselves with the KU examinations department, of which 951 appeared and 552 were declared passed. The pass percentage was 58.04 per cent.—PPI
