Fata village shelled

PESHAWAR, Aug 4: A village in Kurram agency was shelled by unidentified men from Afghan border on Sunday afternoon.

The shelling started when the local people were engaged in a memorial ceremony in the Imam Bargah of Bodki village located near Afghan border.

The first shell hit the courtyard of the Imam Bargah in the afternoon when faithful were making speeches on life and deeds of late Arif Al-Hussaini, killed in Peshawar during Zia regime. The second shell fell in nearby fields, but no loss of life and property was reported till filing of this report.
