KARACHI: NPP elects its CEC

KARACHI, Aug 4: The intra-party elections of the National Peoples Party concluded with the election of its 17-member Central Executive Committee on Sunday.

Earlier, elections on the division, district and town committee levels were held, while on May 27, its central office bearers were elected including the party Chairman Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, who was re-elected as chairman, Information Secretary Zia Abbas said.

The CEC members are: Mumtaz Ali Khan Talpur, Syed Fazl Elahi Fazli, Major (rtd) Rafiullah Khan Niazi, Allah Bachayo Leghari, Syed Zia Abbas, Abdullah Ismail, Mohammad Akber Kiani, Mohammad Iqbal Cheema, Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Jatoi, Samandar Khan Sher, Nawabzada Bakhtiar Ahmed, Fahim Ashraf, Mir Mushtaq Ali Khan Talpur, Shaikh Mohammad Umer, Ghulam Rasool Khan, Abdus Sami Khan and Khan Murad Khan.— PPI
