Faisal lift trophy

ISLAMABAD, Aug 2: Faisal won the Islamabad Inter-club hockey championship Friday defeating Al-Abbas 2-1 at the Aabpara Ground.

Al-Abbas seemed in control after scoring first through Nadeem, an advantage they maintained till the break. But Faisal hit back to equalise, Ayaz Khan taking the honour before Nasir Mahmood slammed home the winner five minutes from time.

The championship was organised by Islamabad Hockey Association.
