Teachers’ rally

VEHARI, Aug 1: On the call of Muttahida Asatiza Mahaz, teachers of various schools and colleges staged a protest rally against the government privitization policy here on Thursday.

The protesting teachers blocked the Vehari-Khanewal Road and also shouted slogans against the government.

Earlier, they held a protest meeting on the local Government College premises where leaders condemned police action against teachers in Lahore.
