Party poll

LAHORE, Aug 1: The central elections of the PML(C) are scheduled to be held in Islamabad on Friday (today).

Mr Hamid Nasir Chattha is expected to be elected unopposed president of the party. Other offices for which the elections will be held include the secretary-general, vice-presidents and joint secretaries.

The number of VPs and joint secretaries is fixed according to the requirement.

PDP: The Pakistan Democratic Party is holding the elections for its central office-bearers on Saturday (Aug 3). The elections for the Punjab organization of the party will also be held the same day.
