ISLAMABAD, July 31: A plan has been chalked out to effectively control drug trafficking inside as well as outside the territorial limits of the country, says a press release.

This was decided in a meeting of Narcotics Interdiction Committee (NIC) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

The meeting was presided over the ANF director-general, Maj- Gen Zafar Abbas.

It reviewed, monitored and evaluated the narcotics interdiction measures adopted by the law enforcement agencies.

The meeting was attended by provincial chief secretaries, all IGs of police, secretaries, Excise and Taxation of provinces and DGs of other law enforcement agencies.
