Passengers looted

SHIKARPUR, July 31: Six unidentified highwaymen looted cash and valuables from the passengers of a wagon (R-206), coming from Sukkur, on the National Highway near Lakhi on Monday.

One of the passengers, Basheer Ahmad Arain, was seriously injured by the bandits when he offered resistance and was taken to the Shikarpur Civil Hospital.

Later, the transporters blocked the road for three to four in protest against the robbery.

The Lakhi police registered the case, reports Our Correspondent.
