KARACHI: MBBS results announced

KARACHI, July 31: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the results of MBBS (third professional) annual examinations 2002, with a pass percentage of 68.65.

Mehjabeen Moeen, seat No 6,457, of Dow Medical College, clinched the first position by securing 685 out of 900 marks. Second position went to Nadia Shamil, seat No 6,107, of Jinnah Medical College, who secured 678 marks.

Third position was shared by Shahzad Raza, seat No 6,303, of the DMC and Gotam Chand, seat No 6738, of Sindh Medical College, who secured 676 marks each.

In all, 1,042 candidates had registered for the examinations, out of whom 1,042 appeared and 714 of them passed the exams.
