KARACHI, July 30: The founder of monthly magazines Dosheeza and Sachi Kahanian and senior journalist, Seham Mirza, died here on Monday night. He had been suffering from cancer for the last six months.

He leaves his widow and three daughters.

Mr Mirza had also remained associated with monthly magazines Show Business, Bachchon Ka Risala, Sports Magazine, Fanoos and Pandhravin Sadi. He also published two dailies, Savera and Anjam.

His funeral prayer was held in the mosque of Askari-IV and he was buried in the Azeempura graveyard, Shah Faisal Colony.

Hameed Haroon and Kazi Asad Abid, president and secretary-general of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society respectively, have expressed their grief on the death of Seham Mirza, says an APNS press release.
