ISLAMABAD, July 26: The Chief Election Commissioner, Justice Irshad Hasan Khan, on Friday asked the NWFP home secretary to look into the grievance of Fatehyab Ali Khan, president Pakistan Mazdoor-Kissan Party and pass an order “in accordance with law.”
The president of the MKP, in his complaint to CEC said that on July 3, he was stopped seven kilometres away from Charsadda and was served an order of externment from the NWFP for one month issued by the home secretary of the province.
The home secretary, the complainant said, based his order on police and intelligence reports and accused him of inciting the peasants against the landlords.
The complainant stated that he was visiting the province in connection with intra party election as required under the Political Parties Order
2002.
The chief election commissioner transmitted the application of Fatehyab Ali to home secretary, NWFP, for looking into his grievance and passing order in accordance with the law under intimation to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
