Second phase from Aug 1

LAHORE, July 25: The second phase of the national cycling training camp to pick the team for the next Asian Games will begin at the Velodrome here from Aug 1.

The Asiad is scheduled to be held in Busan, South Korea from Sept 30 to Oct 14.

The Pakistan Cycling Federation has invited eight cyclists for the camp. A four-member team will be selected from them.

Those who will attend the camp are Zulifqar Ali, Haroon Rasheed, Malik Mohammad Bashir, Shaukat, Amjad Ali, Mohammad Saleem, Sakhawat Ali and Dilsher Ali. Dilsher is currently participating in the Commonwealth Games. He will join the camp later.

Three national coaches Chaudhary Mohammad Qasim, Waqar Ali and Nazakat Ali will conduct the camp.
