PESHAWAR, July 23: The Muttahidda Majilis-i-Amal (MMA), which has completed its talks on seat-to-seat adjustment with various political parties, will finalize this arrangement at its meeting at Peshawar.

Central leaders of the MMA component parties, who arrived here on Tuesday, are discussing the issue among themselves.

The alliance leadership included Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani, Maulana Fazl Rehman, Alama Sajid Ali Naqvi and Sajid Mir.

MMA spokesman Haji Jalil Jan told Dawn that the seat adjustment  with other political parties and the  alliance leadership meeting with president Pervez Musharraf would also be discussed. The MMA has also organised a convention at Shah Tehmas. The alliance  has already rejected the proposed  constitutional package.

The MMA has constituted a  10-member board to evolve stra-tegy for the coming general elections in NWFP.
