Sri Lanka rest Vaas, Zoysa

COLOMBO, July 19: Sri Lankan cricket selectors Friday decided to rest pace bowling duo Chaminda Vaas and Nuwan Zoysan from th team to play Bangladesh in the first Test starting Sunday.

They were replaced by two uncapped platers, left arm fast bowler Sujeeva DeSilva and right arm medium pacer Hasantha Fernando, in a squad of 15.

Squad: Sanath Jayasuriya (capt), Marvan Atapattu (vice captain), Mahela Jayawardena, Russel Arnold, Aravinda De Silva, Kumar Sangakkara, Prasanna Jayawardena, Muttiah Muralitharan, Dilhara Fernando, Sujeeva De Silva, Charitha Buddika Fernando, Upul Chandana, Thilan Samaraweera, Hashan Tillekeratne and Hasantha Fernando.
