ISLAMABAD, July 19: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has to still issue books for the first semester in Masters degree courses, which started in May 2002 and will end after 20 days, on August 10, students said.

“We were asked to complete our assignments before August 10, but due to lack of books we are unable to do so,” they added.

Books have been provided to students of BA and BSc.

They complained that tutors were irregular in classes and therefore they had a problem completing their assignments.

“In this age students are directed to complete their assignments in their own handwriting and are not allowed to use the computer”, the students lamented.
