KARACHI, July 15: The Sindh health department has announced a tentative schedule for admission to the first year MBBS/BDS classes in the public sector medical institutions for the year 2002-2003.

According to the schedule, date of inviting applications, including on self-finance, local and for the overseas Pakistanis, is August 10. Last date for receiving applications along with complete documents is August 31.

Hafiz-i-Quran test will be held on September 5, 6 and 7; entrance test on September 15; the provisional list of district merit seats will be published on October 5; objection to the provisional merit list will be invited on October 16; while the final merit list will be displayed on October 23.

Classes will begin from November 1.—PPI
