HYDERABAD, July 13: A group of residents of Mulakatiar staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Saturday against the inflated power bills.

Led by Adho Faqir, Noor Ahmad Patoli, Fateh Mohammad and Habibullah, the protesters said the SDO, Hesco subdivision-I, Tando Mohammad Khan, had issued wrong bills to the consumers and they were protesting against it for the last four months but their grievances had not been redressed.

They said they had also approached executive engineer Nazeer Ahmad Kalhoro but he too had refused to resolve the problem of the consumers.

They said that today (Saturday), a delegation of the villagers visited the office of the Hesco chief but they were not allowed to meet him.
