KARACHI, July 13: The enrolment section of the University of Karachi on Saturday cancelled admissions of 17 BA, BSc and BCom students for taking admissions on fake documents in various colleges.

The names of the students whose admissions were cancelled are Mirza Waseem Baig of Govt S.M. Arts College, Mohammad Saeed of Govt Arts and Commerce College, Korangi, Sana Shaukat of Federal Govt Urdu Arts College, Simara Shehzadi of Govt College for Women and Shehla Arzo of Federal Govt Urdu Arts College. All these students had taken admission to BA classes.

In BSC part-I, admissions of Javeria Imtiaz and Maria Tabassum of Govt College for Women, Sheruddin of Govt Urdu Science College, Mohammad Zeshanul Haq of Urdu Arts College, Nadia Haq of Govt DJ Science and Nadia Mujeeb of Govt Sir Syed Girls College were cancelled.

In BCom part-I, admissions of Aisha Nawab of DHA College for Women, Mohammad Ashfaq of Govt Jinnah College, Shoaib Khan of Govt Premier College, Noor Ali Khan of Govt College for Commerce and Economics and Syed Nadeem Mumtaz Rizvi of Govt Liaquat College, Malir, were cancelled.—PPI
