KARACHI, July 10: The Sindh Board of Technical Education has allowed failure students, who could not appear in their respective examinations for a maximum of three consecutive years, to take the forthcoming Diploma Associate Engineering annual examinations.

A SBTE notification said that students who had not appeared in the board or institute examination would now, under a decision of the controlling authority of the board, be eligible to appear in the examination of a semester system in the failing subjects.

The students who could not appear in their failing subjects of DAE 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th semester examination since 1997 and 3rd, 5th and 7th semester examination in 1998 can now appear in the ensuing annual examinations 2000 and 2001.

Candidates concerned have been advised to submit their examination forms along with relevant documents and prescribed fee latest by Aug 10, through their respective colleges or institutes.
