MIRPURKHAS, July 7: Umerkot police have arrested five persons on Saturday allegedly for trespassing into a house with intention to rape a woman a few days back.
The accused, Dr Hari Singh, Odho Singh, Manan Pathan, Mangi Thakur and Wedho Thakur, were named by the woman in her FIR.
KILLED: Jan Mohammad Rind, 40, was shot dead by his nephew, Ghaffar Ali Rind, over some domestic affair in a village near 78 Mori, Mirpurkhas taluka, here on Saturday.
Taluka police arrested the accused after lodging an FIR.
ABSCONDERS ARRESTED: The Dilbar Mehar police arrested three absconders in different raids on Saturday.
The accused were identified as Misri, Shahbaz, and Khan Mohammad alias Bhagoro, involved in robberies.
