KARACHI, Nov 2: The pager service appears to have shut up its shop as for the past many weeks it has been taking hours for one to record message.
On Friday the operator on the pager service end did not attend to a call for hours together. Telephone operators of a noted private concern could reach the service after making hectic efforts lasting hours together.
It is not known whether the pager service has decided to close down its operations following declining business due to a proliferation of mobile phone service providers.
