Property tax survey

PESHAWAR, July 3: A meeting of the committee on property and professional taxes held here on Tuesday reviewed the procedure for survey of property tax and presented proposals to streamline tax collection.

The meeting, which was presided over by provincial minister for revenue, excise and taxation Aminullah Khan Gandapur, also resolved that taxes would be levied in accordance with the present laws and no injustice would be done to any taxpayer in the province.

Matters pertaining to property and professional taxes and its arrears also came under discussion in the meeting.

Besides secretaries and officials of different departments, the meeting was also attended by NWFP minister for industries Mohsin Aziz.
