HYDERABAD, July 1: The Cable Operators Association announced here on Sunday that the cable operators would not operate any channel which could prove harmful to the integrity of the nation or adversely affect moral values.

A spokesman for the Association, in a statement issued here, thanked the Sindh governor, PTCL, AIG, DPO, Hyderabad, and Latifabad taluka Nazim for coming to the rescue of the cable operators.

The spokesman said the cable operators were working under legal licences.

He urged the government to provide all legal facilities to the cable operators who were providing jobs to thousands of people and healthy recreational facilities to millions of TV viewers.

SU WORKSHOP: The concluding ceremony of a one-week training-oriented workshop, organized by the Institute of Information Technology, Unive-rsity of Sindh, Jamshoro, for the lower grade employees of the institute, phys-ics department and office of the dean of the natural sciences, was held here on Monday.
