KARACHI, June 29: Nineteen vehicles — four cars and 15 motorbikes — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, police sources said.

Two cars were hijacked and two others were stolen in various localities in the city.

Five motorcycles were taken away by bandits at gunpoint. Ten others were stolen at different places.

The police claimed having recovered four stolen cars and eight motorbikes.

ACCIDENT: A five-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by two different vehicles in SITE.

Police said Junaid Zar Khan was thrown up when a Suzuki pickup hit him and he landed on the other side of the road, where a truck also hit him. Junaid, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to a hospital, where doctors said he was struggling for life.
