PESHAWAR, Nov 1: Pakistan Medical Association distributed relief goods and medicines among Afghan refugees, living in various camps near Peshawar, says a press release issued here on Wednesday.
The press release said that the relief items worth Rs 10,00,000 were distributed among the refugees during the last few days. Earlier, the association donated food item and other relief goods worth Rs two million among the displaced Afghans.
The association president Dr Omar Ayub said that PMA was planning to set up medical camps on Pakistan-Afghan border and inside Afghanistan in collaboration with Edhi and other humanitarian organisations to provide treatment to the affected people.
