FBI, police crackdown in Lahore

LAHORE, June 23: FBI staff and Karachi police officials jointly raided at least 25 different places in the city on Sunday.

The raiding party also brought with them banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi leader Akram Lahori, who was arrested some time back in Karachi, with them. The raids were conducted reportedly on information provided by him. At least 15 suspects were taken into custody.

No further details were available till our going to the press.
