Body set up to resolve dispute

CHARSADDA, June 20: To resolve the dispute between landlord and farmers in northern Hashthnagar, the district government has constituted a district advisory committee.

The task of the committee is to implement the orders of the court regarding the dispute and to convince local farmers so that the law and order situation remains undisturbed.

The committee, which comprises Nazims of the district, held a session here on Wednesday which was chaired by Nasir Mohammad Khan.

Asad Zaman and Naeem Khan, both Nazims, are representing the landlord community, while Nazims, Javed Hussain and Ayub Khan, represent the farmers community of the area. The Nazim of UC Shiekho, Inayat Khan, and Matta Union Council Nazim Abdul Akbar Khan are nominated as judges while legal matters would be settled by Nazims Maqsoodullah Khan, Nadir Ali, Altaf and Mumtaz Khan.
