NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 17: The Nazims of union councils and members of the district council staged a protest demonstration opposite the office of the district Nazim here on Monday against Hesco officials for lodging a case against a Nazim and issuing detection bills.

They were raising slogans against Hesco officials.

The protesters said the Hesco officials had lodged a case of interference in the official duty about one month back against Ghanghra UC Nazim Dr Mumtaz Khoso as the Nazim had made complaints against Hesco to the Sindh governor during his visit to Naushahro Feroze for unannounced load-shedding and issuing detection bills.

The Nazims demanded to withdraw the case against the Nazim and the detection bills against the residents of Kandiaro, Ghanghra and Halani.

The acting district Nazim, Syed Hassan Ali Shah, assured the protesting Nazims that the matter would be taken up with high officials of Hesco.
