Body to regulate tax collection

TOBA TEK SINGH, June 17: The district Nazim has constituted a 21-member committee to regulate tax collection system in the district.

Official sources told Dawn on Monday that the committee will also recommend imposition of new taxes.

The committee included Gojra Tehsil Nazim Mian Muhammad Aslam and Naib Nazim Arshad Noori, Kamalia Tehsil’s union councils Nazimeen Khalid Sardar, Shafqat Rasool and Rai Ziaullah Khan and Toba Tek Singh Tehsil union councils Nazimeen Mian Mahmood Ahmad and Rana Muhammad Hassan and EDO (finance) Tariq Najeeb Najmi.— Correspondent
