LAHORE, June 14: District Nazim Mian Amer has said the city district government has not raised the fee for deserving students in its 36 upgraded English-medium schools.
Talking to Punjab University vice-chancellor Muhammad Arshad here on Friday, the Nazim said the normal fee in upgraded English medium schools had been raised from Rs14 to Rs100, but the deserving students were still paying the old fee.
He said the CDG had provided scientific equipment worth Rs13 million in 340 high schools in the provincial metropolis.
He said the district government would pay 75 per cent funds for any development scheme for which the residents of a locality would contribute 25 per cent in accordance with the policy of the provincial government.
