Amnesty declared

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Kuwait has declared a 45-day general amnesty for illegal foreign workers to help them legalize their stay, or face deportation.

The operation, which would be supervised by the Kuwait interior ministry, is to start from July 1.

Those willing to return to their countries, during the period would be exempted from fines.
